Rev. Franklin Graham, son of evangelist, Billy Graham, knows Sarah Palin well. Yesterday, in an interview with ABC News, Graham said Palin told him she "likes speaking on the issues", and he agrees with her on many issues, but he doesn't see her running for president.
Graham said he likes Trump and Romney. Graham also mentioned that he had met President Obama. His opinion of Obama was that he was "a very nice man, but I think our country is in big trouble."
In a Gallup Poll recently taken, surprisingly Donald Trump and Mike Huckabee tied for first, Mitt Romney came in next, with Sarah Palin following Romney by a few percentage points.

He doesn't get my vote. Among other things he hasn't voted in a primary for 21 years, and he has contributed a lot to cadidates I am opposed to.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) has received the fourth-largest amount of Trump's contributions, including $4,800 in the successful 2010 campaign against Tea Party favorite Sharron Angle. In total Trump has contributed $10,400 to Reid.
In 2010, Trump also contributed $4,000 to Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), who easily won re-election. Schumer has received $8,900 from Trump since the 1996 election cycle. Trump has also been generous to New York's other Democratic U.S. senator, Kirsten Gillibrand, who's received $5,850 in Trump money.

I would hope the republicans wouldn't be foolish enough to have Trump as their nominee.
I would vote for almost anyone over Obama simply because this country can't afford 4 more years of his antics.
I don't trust Trump, not only for what you have pointed out, but he was pro-abortion, now suddenly, he's pro-life. Years ago, he was pushing for national healthcare, now he opposes it.
He was once opposed to more drilling and building of refineries, now he says it what's needed to drop gas prices and get rid of our dependence on foreign oil.
He agrees with Obama that we need to be more aggressive in taxing the higher income people. With all his money, does he really feel that way?
I do believe he could have a major impact on fixing the economy, but he falls short when it comes to world issues.
I would choose Huckabee, Romney, or Palin over him anytime. I would like to see a Huckabee - Palin ticket. But, a Huckabee- Romney ticket would be a strong ticket too.

I honestly dont think anybody would win with Palin on their ticket, at least not this go around. I believe she is a very smart woman, and capable of the job, just think it would be a death sentence for the republican ticket to put her back on at this point, but possibly in the future.

Well, judging from her book sales, the number of people that are willing to spend $500.00 a plate to listen to her speak, not to mention the thousands of people that attend her public appearances, there are a lot of people that disagree with you, TDB. Where do you get your information, The Huffington Post? Palin has theat Huffington witch scared spitless. Palin More Popular but Huckabee Better Liked April 23, Fox News
In what will no doubt be a closely watched opinion-survey battle ahead of the 2012 GOP presidential race, a new poll finds Sarah Palin is more popular among Fox News viewers, but Mike Huckabee is better liked.
According to Public Policy Polling, Palin's "favorable" rating among Fox News viewers is 53 percent—the highest number of any potential 2012 presidential hopeful.
But Huckabee's ratings actually best Palin because his "unfavorable" rating is lower. According to PPP, 45 percent approve of Huckabee, compared to just 26 percent who disapprove. That's a 19-point "favorability spread"—the best number put up by a 2012 hopeful.
By comparison, 37 percent of Fox viewers disapprove of Palin—a surprisingly high number, given her frequent appearances on the network.
Fox viewers are more split on other 2012 hopefuls. Forty percent of Fox viewers approve of Mitt Romney, while 36 percent disapprove. Newt Gingrich's numbers are similarly daunting—41 percent approve, 39 percent disapprove.

LOL Hawk, I haven't been following the wannabee's yet, I was judging by the way they tore her to pieces last time, I don't think they were done with her yet However I do think she could handle the job, and hopefully she'll get the chance to prove that some day. Huffington post??? LMAO!!!

Here's a thought. I don't believe in vast conspiracies, but I do know that back door deals are made in politics every day.
The only political thing that Trump has done is go on The View and other liberal shows and demand that Obama shows his birth certificate.
Could Trump be trying to take the birther vote away from whoever the GOP nominates? I think it's pretty much a given that Palin will get a lot of the Tea Party vote, unless somebody like Trump does things that appeals to the Tea Party and the birthers more than she has, and he has the means and money to do it.
Get the Republican vote divided and Obama will get re elected the same way that Clinton did. By the way, whatever happened to Perot?

It wouldn't matter which one got the nomination, unless Obama or the media can pull a rabbit out of a hat, either one would beat him. Hopefully, the republican party will be smarter than that, though. This time they need to run a more reliable candidate than another John McCain.
In a recent Gallup poll, 46% said they definitely would not vote for Obama, while 22% said they would. He is slipping drastically in most polls.

People usually aren't willing to shell out money to candidates they don't like. I beg to differ on that. I believe there are many corporations, for instance, who actually donate to both sides to cover their bases.

And for tax write offs. Keep squirming, Haus, Palin would knock the socks off of Obama if the election was tomorrow morning, and you know it.

But the thing is Hawk the election isn't tomorrow, let her campaign for even a week and the liberals will be all over her like white on rice again and you know it. And I do agree with you that is all over fear of her because they know she would stomp a mudhole in Obama's backside when it comes to a battle of wits ;D

I think she scares some republicans as well. When she was governor in AK, she cleaned house and that included some republicans who were dirty too. She sent them all packing if they were shady.
That's one reason she'll never get the nomination. Another reason is the liberal media. They will do everything they can to make her look as foolish as they can because they couldn't dig up any dirt on her like they do with so many other candidates they don't feel caters to their liberal agenda.

Well, we know there wouldn't be very many Democrats left.
But the thing is Hawk the election isn't tomorrow, let her campaign for even a week and the liberals will be all over her like white on rice again and you know it.
Let them. They tried to find something in her background to use against her and couldn't, so they started frivolous lawsuits.
That's their modus operandi, to try to throw dirt at the GOP and to make excuses for the liberal candidates. Don't believe it? Read a few of James' (among others) posts. He jokes about some of the things Bush has said (Haus' signature is a good example) but when you point out some of Obama's stupidity he says, "Public speaking is hard to do, people make mistakes". Conservatives don't get that leeway, though.

Although you may believe one is more currupt than the other, I believe an equal number from both sides would be out. Just because stealing is legal in DC doesn't mean its right.

Sadly Palin has wore out her welcome by being in the limelight non stop, the same reason Obama has wore his out, people are basically just tired of seeing and hearing BOTH!
Still as corrupt and dishonest as Obama and his thugs are i'll not count him out, I imagine they can steal the election if all else fails, why else is Reid still in office?

So tell me, Haus, what has Palin done that is corrupt or dishonest? Typical liberal, they can't deny that Democrats are dishonest, so they claim that both parties are equally dishonest. LOL! During Clintons scandal the only defense I heard from the liberals was "Well, look what Nixon did!" as though that made it alright for Clinton to lie to a grand jury.
So far I don't see a good Republican candidate.

I don't think I ever claimed she was dishonest or corrupt. Ditsy maybe. You seem to imply that she will somehow have the power to straighten up all that is wrong in DC and I made the point that if she ran out the corrupt policticians there would be no one left. Then you usually say I've changed the subject or pointed fingers at someone corrupt on the other side when thats not the case. Your debates used to be of higher quality. Maybe I've been on this site too long, you seem to be repeating yourself.
Now for a joke I saw on an I hate palin site I enjoy. The slogan for a palin and trump ticket. "I quit, your fired"

She couldn't have been too ditsy considering when she was governor of AK she had over an 80% approval rating.
She cleaned house on both parties, republicans and democrats alike, getting rid of those who were "on the take" with the oil companies. Some went to jail, some were shamed into resigning, etc.
When you mention Sarah Palin, liberals don't hear or see those things about her, they are blind and deaf to them. They only hear what they want to hear. All they seem to come up with is, she's too ditsy. If she were a liberal democrat, they'd say she's super.

To give an example that all politicians are not crooked or corrupt I asked you to point out one corrupt or dishonest thing Palin has done. She is a politician, you know.

I don't know of anything corrupt she has done, you win. She is the best candidate possible and should be president. We should repeal the two term limits and just keep her until she dies of old age in office. I believe there is an honest politician like I believe there are herds of unicorns running free in California.

I've always liked Palin, but not as president. However, after watching an interview this past Sunday morning with Chris Wallace, I was very impressed with her.
She elaborated on what she felt it would take to turn the country around. She had some very sensible ideas on how to spur the economy, create jobs, decrease the debt, foreign affairs, etc. I had to admit it was better than anything I've heard from anyone so far. In fact, some had outlined the problems, but never came up with any solutions, she did and they were impressive.

You must know the questions and the answers before you go. Shes had a few years to practice so she should be getting better. She will need to continue improving if she plans to give advice from the sidelines and keep a job with FOX news.
