if you had to chose one or the other to reside with you in your home, which would it be?
would you kill the snakes and keep the mice or kill the mice and keep the snakes?

Unless it was venomous, a snake. Mice are much more destructive.

I'd prefer neither....I have a habit of walking through the house in the dark...I'd rather not step on the snake. But snakes won't chew your wires, or eat up your papers, or make a nest in your bvill drawer. So I guess it would have to be a non-poisonous snake

mice and rats carrie disease.
I own three boa's. The one is eight foot long and the other two are about four foot long. I never got bite by them and I let my daughter play with them. I cant' say the same thing about rats. I been bitten too many times to count.

I'd let the snakes kill the mice before killing them. I hate mouse poo.

Dang sunny - I would bet that your chances of getting bit by a critter in one of your traps is higher than getting by a snake?

Neither. Mice carry diseases and hintaviris is serious stuff. Snakes are good for boots and belts.
Snakes have no personality and are not good pets.
