ive never heard of caning breaded tomaotes though i have canned green ones.
please post the recipe.
it sounds like something i might be interested in trying.
are they kinda like a preserve when youre done?

Naww, they are semi chunky with water logged bread and sugar. I'll look it up and post it. Ive had green tomato and red tomato preserves and ex FIL use to make yellow mater preserves. Have you ever cooked breaded tomatoes on the stove top? Same thing as the canned. Some add green pepper, celery, onion etc. Theyre best when served luke warm/room temp.
