A friend of mine and his wife were turned down by an adoption agency because it was her second marriage. I told them they should have told the people at the agency they were gay and threaten to go to ACORN. They would have taken the baby home that afternoon.

I'm with you thrsty up to a point. The pro-life people consider me pro-choice. The pro-abortion people consider me pro-life. The reason being I agree with abortion under 3 conditions: Rape, incest, or to save the life of the mother. What if the condom breaks?

What condom?

The condom that's hypothetically being used by the hypothetical that just hypothetically conceived a child.
If a couple uses a condom and it breaks, and a pregnancy results, is an abortion ok?

Thrsty, try to follow along here. He said 1. rape (has nothing to do with a condom) 2. incest (has nothing to do with a condom), and 3. to save the life of the mother (has nothing to do with a condom.
Whether or not a condom was used in any of the above conceptions is moot.

What if the condom breaks and they really really don't want to have a baby? They're not in love and 15. Is it ok then?

Ever hear of consequences? That's the consequences they have to pay. It's a hard pill for liberals to swallow, but life isn't fair.

What if the dog hadn't stopped to pee? He would have caught the coon.
What if is a little kid's game. And mentally handicapped have consequences for their actions, too. Like I said, life isn't fair.

What if the dog hadn't stopped to pee? He would have caught the coon. What if is a little kid's game. And mentally handicapped have consequences for their actions, too. Like I said, life isn't fair. Life does have consequences, but there are ways to avoid some consequences. So I'm gonna come out and say I don't think many opinions are going to be changed on this subject. So let's pretend that prolifers get their wish, tomorrow all abortions of any type are illegal. What then? People are still going to have back alley abortions or take a whole slew of medications that are dangerous but can still get a fetus to detach from the uterus. Are prolifers concerned about this or will the fact that "abortions are illegal" be enough? People are always going to have sex and not want to take responsibilities for their actions. I've always thought the world would be a better place if the ENORMOUS amount of energy, money, and time spent to make abortions illegal was instead spent on things like: sex education (admitting people are going to have sex, how to do it safely, not pretending abstinence is real) resources for would-be mothers to not choose an abortion, like paid medical fees, counselors, ect if less babies were conceived, that would still result in the same product, less abortions.

Is the morning after pill abortion? IF the condom breaks take a pill and flush that single cell from the system.
As for adoption being expensive....giving birth to a baby is not cheap either. Become a foster parent and you not only get to have kids around you get paid for it. Kind of like test driving a car. Eventually many people adopt foster kids.
Your a poor debater if you simply dismiss someones thougths by calling them a liberal, or you are on the fence and afriad you cannot defend your own thoughts if you engage in debate. Those not open to new ideas are intellectually disabled(close minded).

My biological mother was a drunk, gave me to my parents soon as i was born who raised me,guess she should of just aborted me?
Cousin grew up with a drug addict/dealer mother, she now has 5 B.A. degree's as well as a law degree, guess she should of been aborted too?
What women do with their body's is none of my business but abortion is MURDER and isn't right in my opinion, but they will have to answer for that, not me.
Have a kid now with carpenters syndrome, everyone wanted his mother to abort him as well. Thankfully she didn't and he's the kindest soul ive met on this planet to date!
A shame so many in our society feel so intellectually superior that they can decide who lives and who doesn't get the chance!

Missed where we said your mom should have had an abortion. It should be a womens choice, your mom made a choice and as far as I can tell you turned out pretty good. Those of us that do support a womens right to choose don't decide whether someone follows through.

J's last sentence sums it up pretty well. So many in our society feel so intellectually superior they have the right to decide who lives and who doesn't get the chance. Very well said.

Yes haus we have adopted. Abortion is murder, plain and simple. But for some its nice to wish it had been performed when they were hatched. Cutting up a fetus isnt murder? Ever watch a partial birth abortion? Theres families everywhere willing to take unwanted babies so abortion is a moot point and an easy out for someone that more then likely got themselves into that situation thru wrong choices. I do approve of abortions for rape victims and for medical necessity but if I was a woman I dont think I could have one still since I am the product of rape. If they wish to perform them then OUR tax money shouldnt fund it till the day the Amercian people realize what it is and its outlawed/prohibited again and hopefully forever. I have bumper stickers on all our vehicles that say"Its a baby not a choice" and I firmly believe that.

I saw a case where a pregnant mother was murdered by a guy looking for drug money. When he was caught, they charged him with a double homicide, one for the death of the mother, the other for the killing of her unborn child. Which proves the court considered that unborn fetus a human being.
The Scott Peterson case is a another perfect example. He was charged and convicted for double murders, one for his wife and one murder for his unborn son.
But, according to some, if the mother decides to abort that unborn baby, it becomes just a lump of flesh, certainly not a human being. That is a double standard. You can't have it both ways. But, liberals (that's one reason they're called liberals) want it both ways.

I commend you for adopting. I was a counselor for a few years for foster kids. All they wanted was a permanent place to call home instead of growing up in limbo. Pulled up on one being abused by his foster father one day when I showed up unannounced. WTF, like his life wasn't bad enough.

When my wife and I first got married we did not have the money or insurance needed for us to pay for the doctor visits and perscription birth control pills. But Planned Parenthood helped us out a lot with condons, physicals for my wife and yes birth control pills. We did not have the wealth to bring a child into this world than.
Thank you Planned Parenthood for helping us to not bring a child into poverty.

If that's all Planned Parenthood did, then I would have no problem with them. But, that's not all they do, they also kill unborn babies. That's the part about them I can't support.
