will the facts that NAFA cancelled its September fire sale have any bearing on wild fur sales for next year?

Well, by them not having enough skins to warrant a September sale, must mean they are short supply, or demand is up....either way there won't be many held-over goods to start the season next year. When the demand is higher than the supply, that is always a good thing. But, we will have to see what the early harvest is for next year, that could make a big difference.

it will be very interesting to say the least..add a cold winter overseas and good coat sales through the Olympics and it could be a real rollar coaster of a ride. I hope the coon harvest is low or equal to last year.....but i think most everybody will hit the coon hard even with the high fuel prices..its to the point a couple of decent coon will pay for a tank of gas and thats enough to get folks out. just my 2 cents. and please don't ask what i'm starting my prices at..cause i really don't have a clue at this point

I look for possum to reach 5.00 average. Fingers crossed. I also look for coon to average close to 30.00 in my area. The floods should not effect the prices in our area. and the flood waters receeded almost as fast as they came up, so i dont think the numbers will be declined all to much. some ground hole babies may have been flooded out but the den tree coon should be fine.
