yesterday when we were fishing, i noticed several bluegill that had what appeared to be blood filled lesions on them. the lesions looked like small blood blisters.
anyone have any idea what the disease is called?and what type of damage it will due to a populatiojn infected by it?

Dragonfly stings. The dragonfly flys above the water, and stings fish that are close to the surface, laying eggs in them. The eggs feed on the fluids in the tissue, and eventually hatch, and swim away as larva. Or so I've been told.
