had some coon sell this week for a 16.00 average.

sold some coon for 20.00 avg and my grey fox went for 48.00 avg

Ohbuyer I had some coon that brought the same average. Just did not sell enough of them. I still have close to 400 to sell.

its basically a sale that takes place after the regular auction and is negotiated directly between NAFA and the buyer.
it occurs,for the most part, after fur is bought back by NAFA because the price wasnt what theyd hoped the fur would bring.
sometims it occurs because someone does buy enough fur for what theyre doing during the auction and they need some to fill in the gap.
ohbuyer or someone might have something to add but i think i have a basic understanding of what a private treaty sale is.
