I have been reading a lot of stuff and learning a bunch. I really have high hopes for this season. Some of the things I have been doing / copying other peoples ideas. Here is my skinning machine. I used the hoist I use for skinning deer. I just built a unit for the bottom so I won't have to get down on the floor to hook up coon, fox and anything else I want to use it for. Where the vice grips are attached will spin around. There is a drain in the floor under the round base. This is the I bolt I use to attach a deer to. I use a carabeaners (SP?) and a turnbuckles to hold the hole thing down. I have been working on a pelt drying system all day. I used some 3" duct pipes that I had left from another project. The tubes are from a oxygen machine my wifes aunt had. This was still unused in the plastic bag. Her aunt passed away 25 years ago. I don't throw anything away. Never know when you may need it. HA! There is a hook next to each tube to hang a stretcher on. The tube will go down into the mouth area of the pelt. All I have to do is put the blower on the opening and figure out how I want to turn it on and off. Hope this gives others some ideas. Steve

I think I have one of the worlds greatest home shops. I have been working on collecting all kinds of wood and metal working equipment. I love playing in the shop when ever I can. Take a look! www2.wcoil.com/~buckrun/Metal/Steve
