Mine are way down from last year. Distemper took a toll on them. Kinda surprised though. What with the number of road kills I've seen.

Less than half from last year which was not a good numbers year then. I have several farms that usually produce from 30 to 50 coon that has little or no sign. Looks like I'm done for the year on coon. Time to switch over to rats.

About half on the smaller bodies of water. About 25 percent down on the river. About 75 percent down on the ridge runners. That may just be a local thing, haven't talked to anybody from out of the area. How is the Wetzel Co. catch this season, Cat?

tc we havent even made it to wetzel county yet.
we've been trapping west and south of Parkersburg for the most part and have found pockts where we usually catch some to have none.
Jon Bates as caught a few in wetzel but not alot , course i think the price has got him not trapping as much either.

We couldn't get a coon to stick his head in a box. Blinds and snares took more than in past years. Old ground did not work as had worked in the past.
we are down about 25% from last year.
Worked harder for the ones that we did get.
