Nice pictures nasty. I had a spot last week where I walked along a lake to check traps and flushed the same 8 mallards (4 greenies/4 hens) every morning. Unfortunately, our season went out last month.....

That ole drake was chasin right after the hen.......id think it was a sign of spring but we are gettin a helluva snowfall right now.

itll be interestin to see if theyre nest makes it.
here we haev alot of predation on the nests of ducks and geese.

I never realized skunks were heck on waterfowl but they are and also crows.

i think coon eat as many or more eggs than possum. theyll also kill the adult birds here from time to time.
fox will too.
