the kids and i have went bluegill fishing a few times over the last month and have decent success for this early in the spring,imo.

the Mrs. and i had a meal of bluegill fillets the other night. if things go well i'll see about getting the ingrediants for another meal this evening. the ones i'v been brining home are around 7 to 8 inches in length but really thick thru the shouders (you know right infron of the dorsal fin).

well didnt find any bluegills. ended the day with 13 crappie bass ( 9 to 14 inches) nd two trout. needless to say it will be fish for mondy supper. tuesday we are leaving to go camping along the delaware seashore. let you know when i get back if anything was biteing.

fishing was spotty along the shore (camped at Indian River Inlet). good run of stripers friday night in the inlet, guess who was fishing elswhere? did catch a ferw tog and some really nice sized sand sharks (also know as dog fish) and the usual horseshoe crabs and oyoster crackers. hey had a nice time relaxed laid back.
