www.wvtrappers.com/auction.htmlim actually surprised that they doidnt cancel the sale since they didnt have much fur. the fur they did have didnt do well, imo. i would have been disappointed with those averages if wed have sold there.

The guy that stops by my place to pick up fur for NAFA said all the coon were pretty well sold out and the catch on coon this year looks to be way down. They are talking about the real large coon could go for as much as $38. Wouldn't that be nice?

maybe the lack of fur will drive the prices up in canada.
we can hope anyway.

Do you have a guy come by to pick up your fur, or do you have to take it somewhere when you sell through NAFA?

well our agent is in pennsylvania. we take it up or he will pick it up sometimes because Jerry is his biggest trapper shipper.
we meet him on his route. it saves us some time and him some aggravation.

I agree, that works out for both of you.
Trappers drop their fur off at my place and the guy comes by and picks my fur and everyone elses up. So, it's real handy for me. There are some trappers who have to ship their furs. That would be a real pain.

we coudnt afford the shipping if we had to ship it.
weve talked about it before and wed get by cheaper driving it to wisconsin than we would paying the postage with rates the way they are..
