Wedding ring is in for repair Since when does a plain wedding band need repairs, along with your watch, for a whole month? Another piece falls into place. In a press conference last week Obama was not wearing his wedding ring nor was he wearing his watch. When noticed, his staff said his ring was out for repairs. No reason was given for the missing watch. So it's just a coincidence that Muslims are forbidden from wearing jewelry during the month of Ramadan Can't possibly be that, because although he hasn't gone to a Christian church service since entering the White House, we know he's a committed Christian "cause he said so during his campaign!" ...........And I've got a bridge to nowhere to sell you also.
This is the same president that spent the Christmas holidays in Hawaii to avoid religious obligations as PRESIDENT at the White House. His children do not receive Christmas presents.
Let's just face the facts and quit trying to distort the truth, we have a Muslim for president in the White House, and he has no knowledge of American history.

I didn't know that abut jewelry during ramadan. Makes sense, though.

O seems to be out of cards to play this go around, all he can do now is blame the congress for ruining the economy and our credit rating being down graded, he really thinks the american people are STUPID I guess.
Rick Perry entered the race today, at least now I have someone to vote FOR rather than just vote against someone like ive had to do the past 2 decades.

Remember when Bush was president and James, the lawyer from AK was constantly complaining about how much money Bush was spending. I believe it was J who said he felt Obama would be worse. To which James remarked that if Obama was he would be whining just as loud. It's been 3 years of horrendous spending by Obama and not a peep from James.
It seems the Obama-lovers that were on here at one time have gone into hiding. With such incompetence in the White House, you really can't blame them.

James won't ever admit he's wrong on anything! Gitmo's still open, been wondering what happened to osama's wives, surely they're not in some black op's prison? lol. O signed the patriot act again, kept the bush tax cuts, basically all the things the liberals screamed about the whole time bush was in office, yet don't have a problem at all with O doing the exact same things!
Any talk of what Obama has spent is quickly met with 'look what bush spent'! O spent more in his first year in office than Bush did in 8, but that doesn't matter to the O lovers.

O voted against the renewal of the Patriot Act during the Bush period. He called it nothing but an invasion of privacy. But, when he was president, renewed it immediately. Typical of a lieing hypocrite.

Had he kept his campaign promise to get us the heck out of 2 wars we would still have been in debt, but not as deep. Not only are we still losing American's in the dessert, he took part in a 3rd war we did not even need to participate in. Its not always our place to save the world. We should take care of ourselves first.
Congress is to blame for a lot of the current mess. They could have got together and passed a clean budget and cap and balance. Then if the president refused to sign it, it would all be on his head. But no, all he has to say is I won't sign it, and congress cries and whines and goes and writes something else rather than call his bluff. Democrats and republicans are sell outs. Have they done anything this whole year except fight and try to get face time on the news?

NO and that's what the voter's wanted! We had enough of the 'shove down your throat' bs that took place the first two years of this goofy president! Thank god they can't get anything done now, haven't they done enough in the past two years?
Now O's agenda is quietly getting down on the regulatory side of things, without congressional approval! But to say none of the crap of the last two years is on O's head is crazy, he didn't have to sign all this junk into law did he? He wanted all this mess!

One of the major sticking points, the reason that nothing got done, was that the republicans wanted a balance budget amendment. Obama and the democrats would have none of it. The republicans stood their ground.

Not enough REAL republicans yet to get much of anything done, but it's a start, next election I imagine that will change. Several so called republican's id like to see replaced as well! Lindsay Graham for starter's.

Very true, J. But, I still hear from some liberal democrats that after the republicans have taken over the House, they still haven't accomplished anything.
There's a huge difference in having a majority in just the House, when the democrats have the Senate and the White House. It's like a corporation where one person has 1/3 controlling interest and another person has 2/3 controlling interest. Guess who says how business will be conducted.

Government agencies received word from Obama to plan their budgets with a 10% budget cut for 2013 from 2011 funding levels. Things will be cut. Postal offices are expected to lay off 120,000 to 200,000+ employees in the coming year or so. Early buyouts are being offered and hiring has been frozen for most agencies during the past year already. Attrition will account for a huge reduction in force. Now if only the military can stop paying $80 for a $1.50 part we may get somewhere. Lets not lose focus and forget that the budget is one thing but then they sneak in emergency spending throughout the year for the military.

They sneak in a lot more than just for the military. After millions spent, they still don't know why the spotted owl's numbers continue to decline.
Our own state of MN did a funded study on why the moose were disappearing in northern MN. After 10 years, they still don't know anymore than when they started.
I read about a science class that was given government grants to study over a 5 year period the habits and colonization of ants.
Thanks to stimulus money, the road in front of my cabin was re-tarred. A real waste of money! It used to be the lake road, but when they built a new highway next to it, it became pretty much obsolete. For the amount of traffic it sees, it was just fine, a few minor cracks. But, they resurfaced it anyway.

I agree, let the animal rights and private individuals donate grants to fund those studies. Of course those studies would always say man was to blame regardless of what science showed was the cause.

I agree. But, animal rights organizations will never help fund any of these things, they never have. They need to save their finances to forward their crazy propaganda that animals are more essential than human beings.

O is cutting out gov. jobs that are probably NEEDED but all the new crap they have initiated since he took office is still full steam ahead. Now he's claiming to save 10 billion or some crap over the next 5 years with reduced regulation's on business, what a joke that is!
Why not cut out a few trillion's over the next decade if he's serious? Just more smoke and mirror's and the little guys on the totem pole are the one's getting hurt in the mess, not the big dogs where the cuts would actually make a difference! Has he decided to cut funding ACORN, Planned Parenthood or a billion of his other pets projects? NO
How much has this last vacation of his cost? Since the whole family can't fly in one air craft, they have to take seperate plane's everywhere they go.

Never seen ANY president democrat or republican sunshine that's went on trip after trip like these two have. Mrs. O has been on vacation 41 days this year! Bush gave up golf while in office because he didn't feel it looked right him playing golf while soldiers were fighting war's. You don't think it looks bad for these two to be off spending money like drunken sailer's having the time of their life at TAXPAYER expense while the whole country is suffering?

It's easy to pick on THIS democrat.
When Laura Bush went on trips she never left the US. Most of her trips were to state parks at an average cost of $35,000 to $45,000 per trip.
When Hillary Clinton was first lady, she travelled out of the country once in 8 years. It was a good will tour. Otherwise, her trips never left the country, they were all within the continental US at a cost similar to Laura Bush's.
Michelle Obama has left the country and each trip has cost taxpayers close to $1,000,000. She stays at the most lavish hotels, restaurants, takes along family members and friends. No expense is spared. She doesn't go to places of historical or natural interests. Instead, they pick out the fanciest of the best.
The Obama's should be ashamed of their behavior, looking at all the past presidents and first ladies. In comparison, they obviously don't understand the term, "scrupples".
