do ya'll have em in your area? i saw my first one ever a few days ago and it was really interesting to watch. this is like the one i saw...i didnt take this piic(its online) but it looks like it.

I have never seen one myself...but my sis has them around her place. Dad said he caught one and they have some sorta prickly hairs on them that will stick the heck out of ya.
I would like to see one really. they say they fly just like Hummin birds.....which there are 1000's of this year.

it was really neat to see. i saw the same type of hummingbird moth(some look diff) on the same plants again aq couple times more over the next week or so...then nothing..the disappeared. wonder if the adult moths migrate or just die after they lay their eggs... ill have to look it up sometimes and see.

I saw a small one a couple days ago.it wasn't much bigger than a bumble bee.
