When the best thing people can say about you is that they like you because you have the best chance of beating Obama, you really suck! Here we go again, the way the political machine is set up prevents you from getting the very best, and in the end a bunch of other states narrow down the pack until there is only a couple left for you to actually choose from. 4 years ago McCain was the grandpa that could not win and Romney came in second. Wow, now the guy who could not even beat out McCain is the "best we got!" At least he got endorsed by McCain this time, LOL.
Last time around:
Romney: 'I am Asking My Delegates to Vote for Senator McCain'
BOSTON (AP) - Republican campaign dropout Mitt Romney endorsed John McCain for the party's presidential nomination and asked his national convention delegates to swing behind the likely nominee.
I guess it was time for McCain to pay him back for that. ;D

It's still the same as last time, assuming Romney wins, he's still the lessor of two evils, now that we've had three years to see the incompetence and dismal performance of Obama.

I agree but would go one step further. I say that we have seen 11 years of incompetence and dismal performance by the president, by the senate, and by the house!

We just need to borrow another 1.2 Trillion then everything will be ok.
I got to hand it to the republicans though, they're doing all in their power to get Obuma re elected!
I guess one day in the near future when the entire U.S. Gov. completly collapse's we MIGHT get some decent honest people to run things then, doesn't appear it's going to happen any other way.
Last time I actually voted FOR someone instead of AGAINST someone was when I voted for Reagan!

Yea that should work! Lets not worry about cutting WASTE/SPENDING!
Im telling ya haus im holding on by a shoe string right now, no raise since '08 and none in sight, take more money out of my pocket and like million's of others you'll probably see a whole new wave of foreclosure's, bankruptcy's, car loans not paid, yada yada yada. How many more blow's to this depressed economy will it take to bring this whole sharade to an end?
Im not for giving this corrupt gov. another dime! The more they get just means the more they waste!

Do you really think over 2 Trillion dollars a year isn't enough for this gov. to function and operate off of?

You can look at it and say, Romney has the best chance of beating Obama, so I'll vote for him, is pretty sad. Or, you can look at it another way which is, Obama's so bad, anyone would be better.

jap hit the nail on the head that time.
I have been a fox news listener for eyars now. but I am so Pissed at how they are ALL treating all the rep. candidates besides Romney it is making me sick.
I still say, and hope, that either Newt or Santorum beats Romney. And YES I do believe either of them can and will beat Obama. Newt has the best chance IMO.

Heard on the news this morning that Newt is making big gains on Romney.
Also heard on NBC or CBS, one of those lame stream media stations that they were going to do an interview with Newt's ex-wife. She will say that he had an affair with one of his workers while she was married to him.
And I thought, "Gee, when Clinton was running for president it was made known his 12 year affair with Jennifer Flowers and all the liberals could say was his personal life has nothing to do with his ability to govern as president."
Then Wild Bill has sex with Monica while he's president, lies in front of a grand jury, and still get re-elected! So, Newt having a trist with one of his workers, I say to the liberals, "His personal life has nothing to do with his ability to govern as president!"

He was running around with the wife who is doing the interview while he was still married to wife #1 so not sure why she was surprised when he did the same thing to her.
They've already ran Herman Cain out on a rail, now attacking mitt for making too much money and actually paying his tax's, unlike they have done Geitner and a ton of other obama appointee's, so now it's off to destroy Newt.
Funny how ABC carry's the water for Obama. Plus they have to blow all this stuff up to cover up the real goof up's like the solyndra crap and now this keystone pipleline fiasco he has shut down!

And they are saying the economy is showing signs of improvement and there are more jobs out there. Only thing I can think of is they must be talking about North Dakota.

No the jobs bs is from not counting the 2.5 MILLION jobs that are now gone since O took office, they don't count those anymore nor do they count those who just quit looking for a job or those who are working a part time job while trying to find an actual job like they had before.
Put all that together and our actual unemployment rate is probably over 20 percent right now. But im sure they will pull some more gimmicks late next summer to show unemployment is down to just 7 percent or so and we should keep Obama 4 more years since this is proof we're on the right track!
Crap is so easy to see through it gets old even hearing their crap they call news anymore.

It's starting already. Just today heard on the radio that the unemployment rate is dropping, the economy is headed in the right direction and the housing market is making gains.
Every day in our local newspaper I see several pages of home and business foreclosures. At our food shelf we are seeing more and more people coming who have lost their jobs and can't find work. Just last month we gained 12 new families. Who are they kidding?

Well they had Al Gore already moving in the white house the night of the election! Same deal with Kerry, who by the way ive not seen any of them ask to see his tax records, he pays less percentage than Romney! Its never an issue though if they have a D by their name!

It is the samething here in Canada. Try as they can they have yet to find dirt to throw on Stephen Harpper's personal life but they do thier damnedness to nit pick his political policies that have actually helped our economy. When the Liberal Party started cutting funds for infrastructure the media made the spin that it was a necesarry evil yet when the Harpper gov't gets rid of the finacially crippling long gun registry and puts more money into infrastructure creating jobs he is crittisied. When he started to build up our military and buy helicopters and new fighters and tender out within our own country to build new ships for our navey and coastguard he was accussed of wasting public funds. Imagine creating work here at home for our ship yards and creating jobs in law enforcement and the millitay rather than wasting billions of $ trying to hobble sportsmen and rual people from owning long guns. He trided to work a deal with Obama for a pipeline but O didn't want that so now the line is going to the west coast and providing oil to China. Obama is upset because we are building up our Military and Coast Guard to patrol our Soverin Lands in the North which have been contested by the US and others now that there may be oil, gold etc... they can exploit. He has made some blunders and tried to cover some of them up but nothing even close to the graft and corruption the Liberal Party was responsible for that we know of yet none of the guilty ever even went to trial even after it was well known and documented. So what it comes down to is Honest Men don't get elected usually and if they do they soon become tarnished or the media tries to destroy them.

Wow, Romney is still hanging on. If you can believe what you hear he is having to spend double what santorum is to stay ahead though. Looks like Newt is done unless he got tapped for VP, but that is highly doubtful, his ego would not let him run around and do nothing in the shadow of the president for 4 years. Newt is not likeable, seems like an arrogant guy. Probably good friends with Donald Trump. I think they are two peas in a pod.

I have never in my life seen such BS as I am seeing now. I can't figure out what the heck Newt is doping unless he is staying on to make sure Santorum doesn't win over romney. but then I hear he really dislikes romney alot.

With all the trash talk Romney got from Newt, there's no way Newt would even be considered for VP. The more I hear Romney and some of his ideas, I must admit, I'm beginning to favor him over the others.
Newt's done. Santorum seems too unsure of himself and he got his butt kicked in his own home state. He has never really said what his plan is to turn everything around. I think a debate between him and Obama would be close.
Ron Paul's finished too, if he was ever started. I just hope he doesn't run as an independent. That would assure a second term for Obama.

Folks down here liked Santatorium. I guess if Newt hadn't been in the race id of voted for him as well. I just don't like Romney, he's like Obama Lite to me. Not as bad but his feelings are almost as liberal as the communist organizer's are.
I'll still vote for whoever is running against Obama, like always not voting FOR someone but rather AGAINST someone.

Nothing wrong with that, especially in this case!

Same here Jap...last one being reagan. We do a Rep. congressman running here now for a seat that ghas a Dem seat for at least 50 years. held by Costello for years and years. I was surprised when he said he wouldn't run again. The new fella has a great chance of beating the Dem running against him. or so I hear anyway. I know the Rep's dad fairly well. owns a very large lumber company here and in a few other staates. he is a heck of a great guy. rich as heck but not the type to show off about it. I hope his son, who is the Rep running, has the same values.
