I think the gay marriage declaration by Obama will backfire on him, especially with Romney saying he believes marriage should be between a man and a woman.
The media is trying to say the percentage of Americans favoring same sex marriage is higher now than those who oppose it. Yet, in every state where there was a referendum on this issue, a law was passed overwhelmingly in 33 states outlawing same sex marriage.
That happened even in California where if it was ever going to be in favor of same sex marriage in any state, CA would have been it. Of course, the gay community has an appeal going to over turn it.
The Catholic church in my area is urging Catholics not to vote for Obama, not only for his marriage stance, but because of his stand on abortion, gay issues, and for forcing religious organizations into Obamacare.
Democrats use the excuse that republicans should be focusing on the economy and other more important issues. But, the reason republicans are concerned about the same sex marriage issue is because of people like Obama and just recently, Diane Feinstein who wants to rescind DOMA.

They're backed into a corner this election, hope and change won't cut it, they're having to come out and actually tell the voters what they are for and what they are against! If all democrat's did that NONE of them would ever win another election, lol.
O's poll numbers are steadily falling across the board, but ive never cared for the polls as they are usually wrong no matter what the topic is being polled. I think come Nov. it's not even going to be close, another Jimmy Carter is all this has been and like Carter when the election is held it's going to a landslide.
Appears O has already concluded this as well as he's lining up a ton of EX. Orders to sign once he lose's, NONE of them are good for the country! Can't wait to see what criminals he release's from prison with his pardon's on his last night either, that should be a doozy!

Rush agrees with you on a landslide. Though Romney wasn't my first choice, not only is he the lesser of two evils, he's a far better option than McCain was.
It all depends on where the poll is taken. I heard a poll that had Obama ahead of Romney by 8 percent. But, found out later that poll was taken in a very liberal neighborhood by NBC.

Problem is......he IS backed into a corner........and he will come out fighting like never before. I think he knows he is beat....but what worries me is what is he gonna do before and right after the election? He will still have the power to hurt alot of Americans...which is all he has ever wanted to do. I hope they (the military) keep a real close eye on him.

Romney wasn't my choice either BUT with a solid congress which I imagine the rep's will have I think he'll be kept somewhat in line. At any rate his experience with money and budgets is going to really help this country right now more than anything else! Right now you have a clown that's never had a job in his life running around talking about how he's going to create jobs, lol. I doubt he's ever balanced a check book in his life either! His ol lady probably has always controlled the purse strings in the family.

That will be part of it, that's for sure. But, other things like the economy, jobs, broken promises, immigration, etc, will all play a part if Obama loses. If Romney can't exploit all these things, he shouldn't win.

I doubt most give a rip about the gay marriage bs, just another distraction from his pitiful term in office thus far. Obamacare, shutting down gulf oil drilling, shutting down the keystone pipeline, killing off thousands of jobs just with those two, slinging billions of dollars into his donor buddys pockets like solyndra and other green garbage, attacking states trying to do something with all the illegal's killing our citizens on the highways everday, run around congress to get EPA regulation's shutting down coal fired power plants left and right, on and on and on, whole long list of things voter's will look at to decide he's not fit to be in the whitehouse!
Mainly jobs, gas prices and the economy! Gay marriage might rank at #100 on their list of reason's not to vote for him.

I don't think the same sex marriage issue will be a major factor, but it will hurt Obama more than help him.
Another concern is even if he loses, the damage he can do even with a possible lame duck congress in those last 2 months. You know he will pull all the stops to insert his agenda.

He's got some pretty serious scary stuff laid out for that! All sorts of god awful treatys with the UN and everyone else, basically selling the whole country down the drain for his going away present to us allowing him and his family to travel the world vacationing on our dime for the past 4 years!
