She is fine. Mean as ever too.
We have rented a farm, which she has never been a part of, the transformation has been amazing!!!! LOL
She is now mowing with the big zero turn, cleaning up a bunch, and she will even wash the crap off the hen eggs.....LOL
Just being out there has reminded me why i love the country so much. She even admits she loves it out there, so peacefull and quiet.

My wife was a city girl too. After we got married she wanted to look at houses. I told her I would only look at houses in the country. At first she balked at the idea, but when I refused to look at houses in town, she gave in. We found about 25 acres in the middle of a big oak woods with a 40 acre pond in the back. We've been here about 35 years. You couldn't get her back in town.

If I ever get lucky enough to get her out of town, she won't wanna come back.
Sounds like ya have a place I would love to have. We are looking to maybe going to Ky. before to long. Land is much cheaper there and the state as a whole is alot less like Russia then here.

Screw the city. Farm life's for me.
I love being in the country.. Those quiet mornings outside watching the sunrise are what it's all about.
There's nothing about farm life I dislike.
I lived IN the city for a little while before I divorced.never again

no horns/ no sirens/ no neibors arguing/no window shades.we do have to put up with an occasional freight train breaking the silence a cpl miles away.... why would anyone live in town if they dont have to

A lonesome train whistle takes me back to my youth.
My grand parents place was about 3 miles accross a flat field from the miss. river. The last steam train that ran from Paduca to st. louis ran the tracks along the river there. Used to sit and wait for her to pass every Sat. night. I could hear it blow as it passed Modoc, and would run to the top of the bluff to see her pass a few minutes later. Funny what sticks i our minds aint it.

I hate yotes with a passion. Wish every last one of them woudl fall over dead.
Coons are a PITA but I enjoy catching them. Fox are my favorite, and the reason I hate yotes.
I wish I could trap cats. If this year goes well I will most likely do a little travelin to where I can catch at least a few.
