A deer have ya had the best luck catching canines and cats with?
Myself I use most all of the parts left over. Deer meat fground or chunked by it self is above average, but the heart and liver doctored up and kept unfrozen is also a real good bait here.
I use to use venison in Dobbins bait solution, but haven't for awhile. Soak it in vodka a few days, add some poop chutes and glands from yotes and it is just about as good. Add some beaver castor and it really works well.

Huck.. Since youve caught some beaver..Wire a beaver carcass to a tree where you suspect a cat. When it hits it you'll know cause it'll cover it up. Once ya have a hit..it's not too hard to catch it cause it'll stay close cause it's found a free meal.
No kiddin. It works...we do it... Just don't set too close..if your law prohibits it.
