Sunshine, I sell everything I catch to a local taxidermist. I have sold him all of my bobcats this year for the price of 50.00. He mounts them and sells them for redicilous prices on the internet. I dispatch the animal, bring it straight to his house and get paid. No skinning required. I caught a lot of gray fox so I just charge him 10 dollars each for those.

10.00 a piece is quite a deal for him id say, especially with prices what they were the past 2 sales at NAFA,
have you ever considered sending the fur north? or is it to you more for the fun thatn the money?

thats whats awesome about trapping here. The ground never freezes, no snow, but mosquitos are a problem when temps hit round 70. I really dont trap for money but I do not let the animal go to waste. I put up everything green that the taxi wont buy, ( coons, too many foxes...)and was planning to sell but wilhem in with next year stuff. Trapping is my passion. Its almost all I dream about at work and Im always ordering things and constantly scouting on weekends. I want to be the best that I can be but dont want it to be about money because I do ok working and dont want money or lack of to discourage me when the catch is low.
