Theres no catch circle did she shoot it or snare it? But either way tell her she is kicking butt! I am tickled for her and her first yote!

Based on the shadow she might have long hair. Now if we could only get a pic of her with a critter. Anyway congrats Cathryn.

Theres no catch circle did she shoot it or snare it? But either way tell her she is kicking butt! I am tickled for her and her first yote! DH i caught it in a #2 Northwood, it was a back foot catch and the type of sod that he was caught in wasnt too great for a circle but there is a small area worn down some. it was a very short stubbly hay field. are you questioning whether i caught the coon in a foot trap?

also, ive been told that the circle isnt as pronounced on a backfoot caught yote. and i also know the real target is the front foot, but hey, what the heck, he was still there when i checked the set so im happy with the outcome. another pic of the same yote..... BTW..i had the trap placement a little better on the 2nd coyote..got him square on his paw so i was thrilled, im by no means an expert, im just happy as Hel-l that i caught em

notice the front right paw..catch was near perfect. i missed him the night before..dug the hole over about 4 inches more to the left of the trap and busted him the next night..........

Nope wasnt questioning you just wondered if ya had a chance to call them and shot him. But no catch circle also means ya checked early which is a great thing as most will leave a big catch circle if not checked in a timely manner. So as you can see its a good thing not a bad thing. And yes back feet catches dont have much of a catch circle. You did a great job on those yotes. Now what did you use for bait or was it just lure?

Avtually i didnt check that trap till after 4 ointhe evening so he was there a while but there was no way i coulda got there earlier with the other areas we had to check. it was lure.
