a full fur shed.Me and alexys went to jacksonburg and stayed with Jerry ansd his mom and helped put up fur. This is how the shed looked today when we left. we took down alot of fur before this was stretched. Alexys liked taking out the push pins in the mink and coon. She had a good time too.Rats and mink are my specialty. I have a hard time fleshing coon cause his fleshing beam hits me right at my breatsbone and it hurts also im short so my arms arent very long, but i did board the coon after he fleshed them.

Looking at prices that are being reported it should be a good year for those who have targeted coon. Hope everybody makes a bundle.

Fur sheds with all the equipment and fur always strike me as fun to see. I like that fur drying system. I feel a bit guilty, but I think I'm gonna steal that idea for mine

Sunny, that fan in the top of the picture - is it blowing into that wooden box?

scansy, there are little hoses, if you look close you can see them. the air blows out thorugh that box down the hoses. that drying system has special boards that have ridges in them. you put the hose into the mouth of the animal, primarily fox , coyote and bobcats, and the air is forced down through the board and basically it dries the hide from the inside out.
it eliminates having to turn your foxes, coyotes and cats. you just dry them fur side out the whole way.
its veryhandy. he originally got it because he had ranch foxes and it saved hima lot of time drying them.
he also turns it on to aid in air circulation sometimes when hes drying other fur.
when i stretched those rats i turned it on and they dried a day fatser because of it according to him.

So the the blower just blows into a single chamber and ports throw down spouts attatched to the bottom correct? No other parts inside the box?
