The owls come in our yard every evening just before dark and eat spiders, crickets and the mousy little animals with the short tail, I think they are zoles. Have seen them catch dragon flies off the clothes line. The trees are spread out just enough to let the grass grow and they make good observation points for the owls.

they will give u an ery feeling if you get up close and look in their eyes!....I had one stalk me one morning while i was sitting in a deer stand, I first saw him at about 50 yards in a tree, I moved when he landed six feet away
