I've got an active beaver lodge to trap this week, directly under the eagles nest. Maybe I can get some pics.

They are beautiful. We have a few breeding pairs up by me. It's awesome to see them, especially when they try and swoop fish out of the river.

Good pics there. Our neighbor ran sheep next to out place and had Cyanide guns all over do to huge coyote fatalities. He almost died from Cyanide and he lost a dog that way. For three years everything in the area died from a chain reaction, including many golden and bald eagle. My friend and I picked up all of the feathers and saved some skulls and talons. Later on as we made crafts with these feathers, a warden friend told us that is was highly illegle to keep even one feather in possesion. He was nice about it and we went and found every feather we had even though he did not ask so. I guess they went to the indians South of us or they got thrown away, I'll never know. I don't even touch them now.

I hear ya,we can't even possess a song bird feather here. Some laws are just ridiculous.Govt. must think we're gonna start killing songbirds illegally just to get the feathers.
