I gigged some frogs and was wondering if anyone ever used them for coon bait. I was thinking about saveing the heads and guts of the next bunch I gigged. What say youns?

I know the coons will walk the edges looking for frogs to eat. Also mink so i would say go for it.

You think make a little hole in the bank and throw frog remains in it would be enough?Or should I let it age a bit?

I would freeze it and use it fresh. Mink like fresh food.

earls right ...i also like using fresh chicken liver because of the blood it's a sight and smell attractor as well..

What Earl said. Use it fresh. Taint it and you'll have some possums to skin.

any tainted bait will catch possums and skunks.....even a loud lure will....
