Who's your pick and why?
I'll go with Dan Marino, and let his stats speak for themselves.
If Miami would have built a defense and running game like Montana had he would of had to put the rings on his toes he would of had so many.

I'll go with Montana, but your right, when you have a line that gives you a half an hour to decide where you want to throw the ball and somebody like Rice to throw it to you are going to look good. However, I have seen Joe about to be sacked and tuck the ball and scramble to a first down too many times. I don't think there are too many quartedbacks with the heart that Montana has, most of them are too afraid of getting hurt, so they intentionally ground the ball or throw it away.

What's a QB, and who is this Dan Marino? Was he a famous fisherman or something?

I'm with ya Hawkeye, Montana just knew how to win. Joe Willie is a sentimental favorite. ;D

i will go with Montana although Brady may be the one when it's all said and done.
Brady is one of the few that could make any team win.
i don't think you could say that for a lot of quarter backs past or present.

The all around best has to be John Elway followed by Steve Young

He asked who the best QB is, not CB! For those of you that don't watch football, QB is the quarterback, he's the guy that decides the plays and passes the ball. Something Montana did very well. CB is crybaby. The guy that sets on the bench and cries when his team loses, something Elway did very well! ;D

Montana...... for now. In a few years its going to be either Payton Manning or Tom Brady. We are lucky enough to be watching history being made....
