Well they say OJ was a great "cutter and slasher" LOL
I'll take Barry Sanders, if he would have had a Dolphins uniform coupled with Marino it would have not been uncommon to see scores in the high 60's.

I would have to say Jim Brown. It's too bad that he didn't have a longer career. He wasn't the typical back of his time, he had speed, quickness and loads of power.

John Riggens the man was unstopable. Plus he like to drink beer and sleep. ROFLMAO

Riggens couldn't carry Brown's jockstrap!! Larry Csonka was better than him. But I do admire the man's sense of humor. LOL

Walter Payton - He accomplished nearly all his records with a pathetic excuse of an offensive line, no quarterback, and absolutely no passing game to mix things up. He was much faster than most give him credit for, and he set a honorable example for others to follow.

Yes the late Sir Sweetness was a heck of a sportsman, unlike a majority of the players now days, but so was Barry Sanders.
I still can't stand Ditka for what he did to Walter in the super bowl, I mean this guy stuck by the Bears thru all the crappy years, and there were a lot, and you don't even give him a TD run in the super bowl, yet you give that fat tub of lard Perry two and Mr Punk QB another all from 2 yards and in. Heck Payton would have just jumped in.
What a bummer, you could see it on Walters face too.

I agree, geezer, It's not how strong U r in pro football anymore. It's how quick U can hit the hole. Sweetness would have scored standing up!!

Offshoretrash, LT sure didn't look like a class act after the last game, he looked more like the gangsta sore loser that he is. That doesn't mean he's not good, probably one of the best, but he sure doesn't have any class.

Sweetness was very good, Jim brown was a power player and avgd over 100 yards/game for his entire career...OJ had some unbelievable games but I think the best back of all-time was another bear Gale Sayers. and Marchall Faulk was not a power back but he could get thru the holes real quickbut he doesnt rank up there in the top five...

Rocky Blyer
Didn't really put up big numbers, but then again he only had half a foot.
He overcame great adversity in his life to play foosball.

I agree! I already think he is better than all of those. He knows his angles and can break your ankles. I also think he will be the greatest, because he hardly never takes a hard hit. He runs to avoid, not run to impact.

Walter Payton. However, if his career hadn't been cut short by bad knees, Gayle Sayers would have been just as great.
