I don't think so, Georgia, which may be one of the best teams in the country, is making them look like children in the first half....24-3 with 5 min left in the first half.

Probably shouldn't be. But you really didn't know that until this game. They play in a conference that isn't very strong. But last year, many people said the same thing about Boise State before they beat Oklahoma.

Boise State had a legitimate, all around balanced team. Just another example of how well the BCS system really is doing.

Well, the whole thing is a joke from the standpoint of true sports interest. No playoff? C'mon, that's not right.
But the people in charge are making lots of money, so there is no incentive to change.

I have heard that the comnmissioner of the Big Ten is heavily involved in this and it works to the advantage of the Big Ten somehow.

because it would maybe knock out one of the big 10's "bowl eligible'teams..with a 6-6 record....c'mon...who cares to watch 2 6-6 teams play other than the alma mater and students. The money thing would maybe leave a few teams out, but are we wanting to see them play for money? If so they would be called pro's. Besides a playoff system would generate more revenue than the current bowl sstem..IMHO.

Ya know, I have games on around here a lot. I almost never sit down and just watch except for Steelers and Penn State. But I have it on while doing other things. I only look in if the announcers sound all excited about a play. So the 6-6 teams don't interest me, but I guess football still does some.
