Jim Zorn Is The Next Head Coach Just got off the phone with sources with knowledge of the situation. Zorn is the next head coach. He spent a lot of time with Vinny Cerrato and Dan Snyder the past two days, team sources said, and the brass "fell in love with him." A press conference should come Monday.
Zorn was the Seattle QB coach the last 6 years and spent about two weeks as the Redskins Offensive Coordinator, before this latest promotion.

Snyder must have decided to save some money this time.

No matter who the coach is, as long as they have Snyder, they won't win!

Snyder and Mark Cuban seem like twins when it comes to messing things up.

I'm always laughing at the Pittsburgh Pirates ownership. They've had a five year plan that's lasted since their last trip to the playoffs in 1992.

Scansy, that started when they got rid of Leyland and my good friend Syd Thrift.....guess the owners weren't the genius behind the World series after all...lol

Yeah - the ownerships is a mess. They keep saying it's because they are in a small market and have no money. But their market is similar in size to St. Louis and Cincinnatti. Both those teams spend way more money - St. Louis with success, Cincy not so much. There have been articles in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette showing where things just don't add up. The articles pointed to the owners pocketing large profits. That's their right, but dang, it's frustrating to the Pirates fans.
I buts on the Yankees all the time - but have to admit, the Pirates need an owner like Steinbrenner - willing to spend money. I know they will never have a payroll like the Yankees, but they could spend more.

Success comes from good planning and good judgement, Pittsburg, cincy and so many others have neither.

Yup. Least I have the Steelers and Pens - both organizations doing OK.
