I'll see if I can fix the video.
None of the meat goes too waste. There are lots of elderly folks around here on a fixed imcome that have a hard time making ends meet.

jd, I like to anchor to a smaller tree, around 4" or so and anchor about 5 feet high so the tree acts like a shock absorber. I use 1/8- 7x7 or 1x19. I prefer the 1x19. It seems to hold up better.

That video short or not is pretty cool. I just love how it looks like it is gonna get the camera.

mypestguy, it almost did. On his next charge the camera ended up on the ground because it busted the snare. I was in the wide open and it was a 10 yd race to the 4 wheeler with that hog in hot persuit. I bet I looked like one of those hurtle jumpers when I cleared the 4 wheeler. I won the race and that darn hog stood on the other side of the 4 wheeler poppin his jaws while I unstrapped the .22 rifle. That was his last mistake.

Cathyrn, yes, on hogs we can trap, shoot, snare, spear, run dogs, spotlight year round. Just about anything goes short of explosives.
earl, it's amazing how nimble we can be at times. LOL

Anything goes. Some folks like to get the small pigs and roast em whole. Some folks would like too see them all gone no matter what size they are. Personally,,, I like having them around. I also like to let them get a little meat on thier bones before I harvest them. There nothing better than a 75-100 lb acorn feed pig split in half and smoked all day. Plus they make the best sausage you ever tasted.
