go to Sam's club and buy the frozen ones. Seriously, they are good. I don't know the exact recipe my grandmother used; but it took lard, a tin can, barrell of flour,rolling pin, a heavy 2x2 towel to roll the dough on, sour milk, yeast and a wood cookstove!!! Now I don't have a clue as too how much of what. ;D

Here offshore: 4 cups flour 6 tsp Baking Powder 2 tsp salt 1/3 cup sugar 1/4 cup Butter, softened 1/4 cup shortening 1 1/2 cups Milk
Mix dry ingredents. Cut in butter and shortening. Stir in milk. Need about 30 times on a lightly floured surface, Roll out, and cut. Bake @ 450 degrees for 10-15 minutes. Real easy and good Let me know it ya try it and like it. Becky

that looks about right to me, I meant baking powder instead of yeast. Use yeast in the light rolls grandma used to make!1 mmm good! ;D

This isnt a biscuit recipe.. but its a family recipe for no yeast rolls.
2 c. flour 3 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 3 T. suger 3 T. lard 3/4 c. canned milk
Sift flout,baking powder, salt and suger togather. Work in lard, then add milk. Knead and roll out and cut in rounds..Place a 1/2 tsp of butter on one half and fold unbuttered half over buttered half. Take a fork and seal ages. Place in pan and brush top with butter
Bake at 350 for 15-17 minutes.
