when you are low on bait take a clean white cloth and wet it real good and stick in a pocket set then take a 12 inche nail or spike with a washer on it and push it threw the cloth .then push it in the back of the pocket so the coon has to work extra hard to get it out.the smell stay for several days and it has great eye appeal.

sunny yes ..the coon is looking for a free meal ..the cloth is a eye atractor and the smell is telling him its food...remember coon likes garbage cans, and dumps also.they hunt any were theres a free meal...make a test sight and try it you will be surprised...for a test sight just make every thing like you would for a trap but don't set a trap..now take a pail of water and wet the area and then slick the ground real good and goe back in a couple days and check the set..the set will have all kinds of tracks were he tryed to pull the cloth out of the hole...

sunny..when you spike it down with a washer and gutter spike it makes the coon move his feet around and the more he moves the better chance for a connection with trap...yes some times they pull it out but 99% of the time hes in the trap
