www.wvtrappers.com/auction.htmli been studying them fr a while and seems ot me there wasnt much for offered as relates top past years. Do you guys think people are holding more fur to ship north in hopes of better prices this year?or was there just not much caught? any guesses?

I don't know abou WV, but the local buyer here is saying the catch is down around here this year. He seems to think it will help prices - but not until next year.

I know a buyer in Mn and he says the fur take is way down there. Could be the 3.25 gas

could be the gas, my take on that is that coons bringing double what they did last year will offset the price of gas.....so far so good ;D

The Jan. sale is the short sale. The March sale is always the bigger sale of the two.
