Jerry called a few minutes ago and said he sold Nutria hed had up there for over 8 yrs this past sale for 2 and some change. he also sold the rest of our possum( some for 7.00) for an average of 3.25. he got 4.50 for a high an rats and average 3.75 overall.

he got 62 dollars above the money he sold for fur. was it interest?i dont know but he got 62.oo above the total he should have gotten for fur.

Sometime when fur is shipped and doesn't move with in a year the best thing to do is to write it off. Then down the road you can get a nice supprise when it sells. You can't look back at what you should have done. You didn't ship there to start with because you thought you were going to take a bath. Sometime markets change between shipping and sales. They may go up and they may go dead. Selling to false markets like what we may have on coon right now can some times be good. If country buyers get to paying as high or higher then the International Auctions bring it will last until the next sale. They all use the sales as market indecators. I am glad he sold the nutria, hope he is too.
