1 pound halibut fillet 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice 4tsp olive oil 2 tbsp plain dried breadcrumbs 1/4 tsp salt fresh ground pepper 1/4 minced parsley 4 lemon wedges
Preheat oven to 350 F. Spray 9x13 baking dish with non stick spray. Place the fillet skin down in baking dish, sprinle with lemon juice. brush fillet with oil, then sprinkle with breadcrumbs,salt an pepper.
bake until fish flakes, 15 - 20 minutes. Spoon pan juices over fish and sprinkle with parsley.
Then we had shrimp scampi over rice& vermillion to go along with it
2 lb. lg. shrimp, peeled & deveined 1 med. onion, finely chopped 4 cloves garlic, minced 1/2 c. butter, melted 2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice 1/2 tsp. steak sauce 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/4 tsp. hot sauce 2 tbsp. chopped parsley
Cook onion and garlic in butter in a large skillet over medium heat, stirring constantly, 3-4 minutes; add next 4 ingredients. Bring to a boil; add shrimp and cook, stirring constantly, 5-6 minutes or until shrimp turns pink. Sprinkle with parsley.
and topped it of with fresh silver queen sweet corn .
gonna try a white fish next time or anouther type of fish that takes the seasonings well.. has to be less expensive then the halibut .lol. 19.99 a pound.

you paid 19.99 for a lb of fish? Heck, I had salmon tonight - from my trip to Alaska. That fish was way more than 19.99 per pound.

Yep i did sunny.. first time i actually went and paid that much but considering what i have spent on some of my out of state fishing trips it averages out.lol.
Never had halibut before an doubt that i will again at that cost. I think i will try white fish or some other type that takes the seasonings as well.
All togather the total meal was just about 25 bucks for three ppl(19.99 for fish 3.99 for the shrimp) for three ppl.. which isnt bad..Everything else we keep on hand in the pantry usually.
Worse part is when i cleaned the table off the buggers stiffed me for the tip .lol.
