This is off Trapperman recipe.
Not the kind you eat!!!! modified a bit. **************************************************
Apple Pie
1 Gallon apple cider (the good stuff, fresh, foggy stuff). ½ to ¾ Gallon of clear apple juice (¾ is a moderate drink). 3 Cups of Sugar ¼ Cup of Honey 1 TSP of Nutmeg 8-10 sticks of Cinnamon sticks (break in two)
Combine all ingredients above into a large pot, and stir for a good minute until all the sugar is COMPLETELY dissolved. Put on the stove and heat to ALMOST boiling point, but do NOT let it boil. Remove from stove and let cool for 2-3 hours. Add 2 bottles (750ml.) of Everclear (151 proof, 75% grain alcohol) previously 195 proof and 2 ½ bottles. Stir good for a couple minutes. Let it sit for 2-3 days at room temp. Then stir, bottle, and put a cinnamon stick in each bottle, (I re-use the pieces that were cooked and soaked). At this point, you can either refrigerate or keep at room temp. Always SHAKE the bottle well before each use, as all the impurities sitting at the bottom are for good flavor. You end up with 2 Gallons of drink.
ENJOY ;D
