Hey girl scout, have you ever made hot chocolate by placing the waxed cardboard container of chocolate milk in the campfire? If you haven't you need to try it, so good...!

no i havent and i wasnt never a girl scout.
they were too prissy for me, lol.
but i still dont understand how the fire doesnt melt the ice.
how thick is the ice youre fishing through?

I don't build a fire on the ice myself - it only takes up my time that could be spent fishing and ties me down to one spot. I do have a small single burner propane stove that I can use to cook lunch if I want.
I don't go out on less than 4" of clear ice. Some guys go on less, but I ain't into getting a dunking.

ya aint gonna catch me out on the ice , i dont care how thick it is. i have a phobia about water, frozen or otherwise. Sounds like my brother. He won't ride a snowmobile down the river we trap cause the water is moving under the ice. He's kind of a Sally.
