Does anybody have a good way to remove old F1 from traps? I was thinking just soaking in..... paint stripper? gas? what?

I bought a few softcatch Victors that had a thick coat of formula 1. I took them to a carwash and it removed most of the F1.Hold the nozzle down close to the trap and turn up the force and it sort of cuts off the F1. If you have a pressure washer, it would probably do the same thing.
