What's the lowest temps you guys will camp IN A TENT in? The wife and I hit a small line on public land last year in temps around 25...I know that's not much to some folks but we were in a small tent with no heater.

I don't have one. One year the ex wife and I camped and trapped out of a tent for a couple of weeks, no heater there, either, just the camp fire. We would wake up and the sleeping bags would be frosted where our breath hit and my beard would be frozen. I wore two pairs of wools socks and a wool stocking cap to bed every night.

I have woke up to below 0 temps many times while tent camping. Once woke in an old military sleeping bag and had snow hit my face when I opened the zipper on it. No tent that night.
A pop up without a heater is worse then any tent. I like to froze to death a few years ago useing one of them things.

I once spent two nights in a debris or leaf litter, hut at -10. It was nice and warm inside wrapped in a wool blankey.
Getting out sucked.

my great grandmothers log cabin only had a pot bellied stove for heat. One time on the new years weekend we stayed there. my older sisters slept in the loft and the next morning were covered in snow. LOL They stayed quite warm though with all the hand made quilts grandma had put over them. Being it was a feather bed helped to I am sure. Sunny that frost on your windows are from your cold cold heart. ;D

It was 25 degrees where I was camping 2 weeks ago I was warm enough but getting out of the sleeping bag did take some resolve.

I've stayed out on some pretty cold nights but not anymore. Can stand sleeping on the ground anymore.
