I know alot of people grow hot peppers with no clue as to what they are gonna do with them. This stuff is good on just about anything.
36 hot peppers of you choice( i use the small chili peppers) 1 qt. yellow mustard 1 qt. white vinegar 6 c. sugar 1 TBS. salt
Grind peppers, seeds and all. Mix all ing. together and bring to a boil. Mix 1 1/2 cups flour with 1 1/2 cups cold water. Add flour mixture to boiling pepper mix. Let boil again for 5 minutes and put in jars.
When I first made this, I learned to use a whisk when pouring in the flour mix to keep the lumps down to a minimum. I also took about 7 or 8 peppers out of my second batch, which still give you good heat, but it was a sweet heat, not a OH MY GOD GRAB A FIRE EXTINGUISHER! heat. If you go by the recipe, it is pretty dang hot. Hope yall enjoy!
