no, I never have; but a friend of my fathers shot one in maine....the meat was very red and tasted excellent....somewhere in between bison and cattle, is the best way I can describe the taste.

it was moist and very tasty; but that also has a lot to do with how it was prepared. I cooked mine on the grill in a beer seasoning...much the same as I do my deer roasts.

actually it was seasoning , cooked in beer, to keep it moist...kinda like you use sherry.
