A big man needs big britches....and Sunny the case was all closed up after my first reply. The East don't need to worry about these type critters anyways, thed just break there necks running through the woods with a bull legged redneck in chase. ;D

Got news for you, they are called fawns, and they are not in the sheep or goat family, and believe it or not they are not in the anelope family either, they are in their own family which is called prong horns, they have no other spieces in the world like the prong horn.

Yeah!!! Trax is absolutely correct, and it can be researched too. Now Sunny, throw away all this "kid" and "calf" and "pup" or whatever else, odd ball titles you pick up off the "trusty" net, and pull down the handle to flush.

Beat me to it, Trax. But they are closer to the goat family than the deer, since they have true horns and not antlers and their hair is hollow and has lanolin in it, which is why when you skin one you have to be careful not to get hair on the meat.
I don't care what you call it, it looks tender and juicy to me. pronghorn veal!

When you buy a lisence here in Wyoming for antelope you will see that they offer extra tags for Doe, Fawn too.

Guys....lets face it, we all care about what they are called, it is as important as what's in your wallets. Also, to quite honest, I would like to see more "rubbing it in" to Miss cathryn also. So lets's get to it!
