Recently scored 330 Boone & Crockett in south Tx. Breeder Buck behind 10,000 acre high fence. Put to sleep for measurements and semen sample. Sold recently for 600,000$, my friend who is a biologist for TPW sent me this last week.

They catch you poaching around here you better hope it is a agent. You wouldnt survive the other. We take that like people in the old west took horse thieves. People around here are differnt. They will shoot then ask questions.

DH,
What kind of frenzy do you think the folks around Marshall and Sedalia would be in if a brute like this one showed up!!!!
The jail house would be full of roadhunters, poachers, and trespassers.

Pennsylvania has a small elk herd - right in the area around our family camp. Back about 8-10 years ago, there was a huuuuuuge bull that we were watching all through the summer. The antlers were massive. Everybody who spent any time up there knew about this bull.
That fall, it was shot illegally. Worst part is, it was left to go to waste - meat, hide, antlers, everything. They never did find out who it was, but there was a pretty good reward for information. The elk is now on display at the Cabelas in Hamburg. Everyone I know was pi**ed off about that one.
