Earl they are really easy to kill with a bow, I shot this one with my bow, and it still ranks 577 in Pope and Young out of 1552. The hunts can get a little tuff some times though, I have chased cats for 11 hours and the dogs never jumped the cat, so it can be a long walk back to the truck!

been there and done that, not walked for 11 hours straight though. although I did have a half hour walk back to the truck turn into a 4 hr walk. (dang fog) lol
When I used to bear hunt a lot, we hunted with dogs and it was nothing to be running all over the sides of the mountains for half a day

Hard to get a cougar tag here in Oregon. When I trapped the high desert I caught a few in my bobcat traps. Usually they demolish the trap, but when they don't you have to call the Game Commision and they come out and tag it and release it. Once the fish cop told me to go ahead and release it. Now that was a rodeo. My dad, brother, and I got the job done without requiring stitches though.

Hawk I have another picture of a lion in a trap on the big game page, we turned it loose with just a rope and a friend of mine. Caught it in a #3 victor long spring and held it with out destroying the trap.
