thats a very nice looking animal..are they actually sheep, or are they in the goat family? how much does an average one weigh, are they edible, and what is the best type gun to take one down with?

They are a true sheep. I would say the average weight on one would be 270lbs live weight, and they are very good to eat, I have had nothing better then sheep meat. About any deer rifle will work for sheep, there not any bigger then a deer, there are more blocky and aren't quiet as tall as a deer.
