That's a nice one. Your first deer and any as far as that goes is a trophy as it is a milestone and the deer and hunt will always be in your memories. Congrats on the succesful hunt, and thanks for sharing it with us. One thing missing! Where's the story??

i was aiming at the spike my dad got and missed he dropped it lol then mine came out i fierd missed he stayed i put another round in the chamber and thus thru his shoulders destroying his front legs and heart.....it was a five point 170 on the hoof.....150 dressed...i was thirteen then im 17 now and i still cherish that deer......i killed it with my grand fathers remington 30/06 with a 3x9 bushinell scope on it its a pump.....now i hunt with a ruger 270 m77 mark 2 lefty bolt.....sraight 4 tasco pronghorn scope....... ;D

Those 2 deer were shot about 3 minutes apart....must have silly deer here 2 shots and then another at the second deer and then his killing shot...It was a great day to say the least...I will say he is hooked for sure and I will also say I have alot of pride in that day still...he made me proud for sure...Thanks for posting the pics son!!!
