Here are the results of the family carving last night. First one is my 7 yr old son (with some help from me), second is 14 yr old son, third is 2 yr old daughter (with lots of help from my wife). Sorry the pics are blurry - it's hard to get the pictures in the dark with the long exposure time.

Thanks guys. For the kids, Halloween is right behind Christmas and their birthdays. And the great part about jack-o-lanterns is - roasted pumpkin seeds! Not the crap you get in the store, but real home roasted ones.

My wife always comes home with these pumpkin carving tools from somewhere. They are like little hand saws, about two inches long. They have lots of teeth. We are always expecting the kids to hurt themselves so are always right there. No problems yet though.
