After having dug to a depth of nearly 100 feet, New York scientists found traces of copper wire dating back 100 years. They have come to the conclusion that their ancestors already had a telephone network more than 100 years ago.
Not to be outdone by the New Yorkers, a California archaeologist dug to a depth of 200 feet and shortly after, a story in the LA Times read: "California archaeologists, finding traces of 200 year old copper wire, have concluded that their ancestors already had an advanced high-tech communications network 100 years earlier than the New Yorkers."
A week later, in the St Paul Pioneer Press, a local Minnesota newspaper, the following was reported: "After digging as deep as 300 feet in his pasture near Embarrass, MN, Ole Olson, a self-taught archaeologist, reported that he found absolutely nothing. Ole has therefore concluded that 300 years ago, Minnesota had already gone wireless."

It is very seldom I hear a joke I haven't already heard, but you come up with new ones all the time. That's a good one.

Thanks, Hawkeye. But, you come up with some pretty good ones quite often yourself. I've gotten some pretty good mileage with some of the ones you've put on here too.
