This is a hash recipe that I have enjoyed over the years:
I large neck or meat from 2 front shoulders.
1/and 1/2 onions
8 slices of bacon
1 Green pepper
lemon pepper and sage seasonings
Slow boil meat for 3 to 4 hours with four slices of bacon and one sliced onion.
Remove from heat and Rake the meat into strips.
Place meat in oven pan adding about a 1/4 inch of strained juice from the boil.
Add the the half chopped onion and chopped green pepper.
Season with some lemon pepper and be generous with the sage.
Space 4 slices of bacon on the top
Tightly cover with foil and place in oven at 350 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes.
Enjoy

HC, it sounds great. Our sportsmans club is putting together a wild game recipe cookbook. Would you mind if I added your recipe? Thanks.

Be my guest! And try the recipie. I believe you'd like it. It takes every bit of gamey taste out of the meat. And even picky eaters (Mother in Law in my case) like it.

That's probably how Jerry got distracted and lost. That would do it for me. ;D BTW, if you really want to get unpopular in a hurry, try hard boiled eggs and beer.
