In February, Medina, OH police were called to the home of Lucas Kocab after an incident that he attributed to snorting bath salts. Kocab called police to help him evict the "30" intruders in his home, although none were found. Kocab insisted the intruders were merely making it seem like they were not there and that they were actually blending into the surroundings, disguised as chairs, furniture, pictures, and trees. Police were forced to taser Kocab because he would not stop running in circles and yelling. The police examined the bath salts and determined that the substance is not illegal in OH.

From the Medina Gazzette;
The bath salts Kocab allegedly used are not typical bath salts bought at the grocery or drug store.
These bath salts contain synthetic drugs that mimic the effects of methamphetamines.
Because the drug is still legal, police cannot press drug charges against Kocab, Starcher said.
“He can’t face drug charges, but it’s obvious he is a danger to himself and others while abusing this chemical,” he said.
