Shep Smith called the operation that killed Osama Bin Laden "illegal" on Tuesday's "Studio B." Speaking to Fox News' Catherine Herridge, Smith was discussing the various reports about the intelligence that led to Bin Laden. At one point, he asked Herridge, "is anyone talking about the fact that this is illegal, this operation was illegal, or is that a matter that's going to be left for another day?" Herridge said no one had discussed it with her. Smith is not the only Fox host to raise questions about the operation's legality. Fox Business anchor Andrew Napolitano explicitly called the killing illegal on his Monday show, saying it violated the Constitution and several treaties. www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/05/04/shep-smith-bin-laden-illegal_n_857356.htmlwhat do you think?? Personally im glad the SOBs dead and that we had a President with enough "brass" to order him killed..and not just taken hostage..... and that the Seals were efficient enough to carry out the Presidents order safely and swiftly. GOD BLESS AMERICA!!

On O'Reilly last night he praised Obama for making a great decision and the right decision. He had others on his show that said the same.
Sean Hannity said the same. He also said some credit should be given to Bush for putting the intelligence in force in the first place.
What Smith was talking about was that we violated sovereignty by crossing over Pakistan's border to get binLaden. But, he still felt it was necessary.
I give credit to Obama for making the decision to do it the way it was done. It took kahoonies to make that decision and I honestly didn't think he had them. I was wrong.
Believe it or not, I also heard Nancy Pelosi called Bush and thanked him for putting the intelligence detection system in place that eventually played a big part in getting bin Laden. Of course, it's doubtfull you would see that in the liberal media.

With the billions we handed out to Pakistan I don't think we broke the law. If they decide to push the issue we can cut off their funding.

Wife is probably learning what water boarding really means. I'm sure the kids are talking with a person who has a friendly smile asking them about visitors to the complex and where all they have traveled.

Pakistan is up tight because we violated their borders; probably felt we should have let them know what we going to do before we did it. That way they could have warned bin Laden we were coming.

Exactly. With 24/7 surveilance on that place I wonder how many pakistani officials paid bin laden a visit and are on video. The outward media stuff is probably BS and that is all they can try to do to save face with their own people.

We have to have Pakistan if we're going to continue a war in Afhganistan, no other way to get supplys to them. My main problem with Bush after 9/11 was he never would allow our troops to cross the Pakistan border! If your going to fight a war, then fight a war! Don't do it with limits and arms tied behind backs, turn our troops loose to do their job then stay out of it.
Obama met today with the CIA officers who helped gather the intelligence that led to Bin Laden's death, the same CIA officers he's investigating and trying to charge for being to rough on the poor helpless suicide bomber want to be's they interrogated in order to get this intel!
No doubt Pakistan KNEW where Bin Laden was for the past 5 years if not longer!
